Here at Chandra Yoga Wimbledon we offer a number of services to help you on your journey to better physical, mental, emotional and of course spiritual well-being. From Ashtanga, Classical Hatha Yoga, asana, pranayama and meditation to pregnancy yoga and other traditional healing practices we are here to provide you with guidance and support.

Classical Hatha Yoga
Our main instructor and owner Taylor Newton Murphy was classically trained in Kerala, India.
He teaches a unique blend of Ashtanga, Classical Hatha Yoga, and Qi Gong developed through years of dedicated practice, study and refinement.
This integrated approach is the heart of the practice at the studio. Taylor has practiced Yoga and Qi Gong for over 20 years and has studied with a number of world renowned Masters.
With years of experience and a true passion for the original meaning of Yoga, Taylor gives each individual the attention and guidance they need to get the most out of their practice.

Yoga for Children
Our Little Yogis class gives children ages 4–8 a fun, engaging way to build concentration, coordination, and body awareness. With so much screen time affecting attention and physical activity, this class offers a healthy break through movement, focused play, and calming breathing exercises. These simple practices help children develop stronger attention skills and positive habits for everyday life.
Little Yogis also supports emotional development and mindfulness. Excessive screen use can make it harder for children to manage their emotions and stress, but our class teaches calming techniques that help them recognize feelings, relax, and build resilience. Through mindful moments and creative expression, children develop emotional balance and inner awareness that continue well beyond each session.

Pregnancy & Baby Yoga
Mariella's classes incorporate stretching and strengthening along with breathing and visualisation exercises to empower her students to have the best possible birth experience utilising the skills learnt during pregnancy.
As a teacher, Mariella's aim is to work with you to empower you to listen to and trust your baby and body during this special and magical time.

Acupuncture
Taylor's background as a yoga instructor and interest in Chi Kung complements his interest in and understanding of acupuncture. By addressing both the physical and energetic aspects of wellness, he can help people find balance and relief from various issues.
Taylor is qualified in Microsystems Acupuncture. He is certified in ear, hand, foot, scalp and face acupuncture as well as in the NADA 5-point protocol for detoxification and stress management.
He continues his studies at the Yuan Traditional Medicine College under the world renowned Acupuncturist John Tindall.
Taylor is very happy to offer advice and treatment to help people improve their health and well-being.
Microsystem acupuncture is a fascinating approach, especially for conditions like pain, anxiety, chronic fatigue, stress, depression, insomnia and addiction.

Chi Kung
Chi Kung is a holistic practice of healing which also has martial applications. Originating in China, the art utilises standing postures, mindful movement, breath, and meditation to enhance physical and mental well-being.
By promoting energy flow through the meridians and conditioning the ligaments and tendons as well as the muscles and skeletal system, it It allows you to cultivate your internal power and access full-body strength.
Taylor has great interest in this form of exercise and has practiced with a number of world renowned Masters. He is happy to share his knowledge with you in this intimate sized class.
Chi Kung also greatly compliments Yoga and vice versa.
